Courtesy Cars
Will I get a courtesy car ?
Yes every customer has the option of a courtesy car. Vehicles are subject to availability, which means at busy times you may have to wait a little longer. We have a large range of cars including 4WDs and vans to keep you on the road at minimal inconvenience.
Who can drive the courtesy car?
This will depend on who is insuring the courtesy car. Many insurers allow us to automatically cover you on your own policy and so your normal arrangements will apply. However, if we have to insure you this may be different. Please ask for details.
Do I have to pay for the courtesy car?
No but you will be expected to replace any fuel you use back to the level that was in the car when you collected it. Any unreplaced fuel will be charged when the car is returned. Any fines incurred under the Road Traffic Acts ( Speeding etc ) will be your responsibility.
Costs
What will I have to pay?
When your car is returned you will need to pay any excess that applies, vat on the account if you are vat registered and the bill for any private work we have agreed with you. If there is any damage to the courtesy car you may have to pay an additional insurance excess or pay for the damage in full.
Insurance Excess
If the accident wasn't my fault why do I have to pay the excess?
Sometimes we can arrange to get an excess waived if the liability has been confirmed, but this can take a little time. Please tell us as soon as possible if you wish us to pursue this on your behalf. If liability cannot be confirmed you will have to pay the excess to us on completion of repairs.
Repair Times
How long will the repairs take?
You will be given an estimated completion date after the car has been assessed. We may have to wait for authority from your insurance company before we can proceed. Occasionally delays may occur due to replacement parts problems, but we will make every effort to keep to the timescale agreed and to keep you informed.
Guarantee
Do you guarantee work?
Yes, all our work is guaranteed and as part of the Fix Auto Network of repairers all across the UK we can now offer a national guarantee. Our paintwork is covered by a lifetime guarantee whilst the vehicle is in your ownership , labour is covered for 5 years and parts by manufacturers warranty. Please ask for further details.
24hr Service
Do you have a 24hr service?
